Already at 2k! Skylantis Kickstarter is doing amazing!

Skylantis has already reached 6% of it's funding goal with 2k in pledges. There has been pledges being made to many of the different rewards they have including having a pledger's name being immortalized on the back of a robot. The Skylantis Team is very grateful for all the support and looks forward to the game being released.

Skylantis Kickstart Campaign

Hi I'm Michael Chugg and I wanted to inform you about a project that is being done by Utah Valley University students.

The game is called Skylantis and is about Gizmo the robot who after a 

tragic incident finds his world in ruins. Gizmo's creator, Dr. Esmay has 

disappeared. You must explore his world to find out what has happened 

to his creator and restore Skylantis to its former glory. 

We are currently doing a kickstarter campaign to raise funding so we can

buy the professional licences we need to release the game. The campaign

We have had the opportunity to have professional companies look at our 

game and review us, "Impressive! Doesn't look like student work."

One of the fun things we are doing with our campaign is what we 

call our "Red vs Blue" challenge. We present a red and a blue option

for something that will affect the game and we are going to let you

decide which way it will go.

This is the university's first time taking a game to the point of full publication

and we are looking for all the support we can find. If you could give us your

support in any way we would greatly appreciate it.

skylantis.com just went live. It's not a finished site yet but we at least have something very temporary up that we can use to direct people to. We just had our trailer shown in a theater which is why we put up the site. The trailer is also on the website so go watch it and enjoy!

This is a version for a assignment for my Corporate Issues in the Digital Media class. It's pretty good so far. but could be improved alot.

Level 2 for Skylantis

Hey it's been awhile everyone! I finally decided to start using my blog again. So here is a design for a game project I am working on, Skylantis.

Amazed is live

Diet Chugg is proud to present Amazed is a labyrinth video game made by Chuggcorp. Get ready for fun surprises and puzzles around every corner. Collect points to spend on unlocking bonus courses and changing the color of your square hero. This game has 50 levels 10 Training 20 Standard 10 Bonus and 10 Lost Levels. The bonus levels have a new concept in each one of them so you can encounter cool new things.

controls: directional pad. to move
double tap to unlock doors when you get keys
Enter pulls up the menu
ESC will exit the game
F1 will pull up help
F9 will take screenshots
Space is used for flipstars/flags when you find them.

The game is 7 mb w/o music and 47 mb with music. This game will not force you into full screen the size on screen is 600x800. Works on Windows 7 so it should work on Vista. Game is only single player only so there is not multiplayer. sorry no controller functionality. This is my first game I have ever released.

Note: The game may be a bit easy at the start this is to help people who are younger or new to gaming to get ahang of the concepts. Don't worry for those of you who want a challenge, find the lost levels you will be presented with a challenge. They are hard to find in the first place.
As a trinket to all the people on YoYoGames I will give a hint here that appears late in the game. There is a fake wall in the Overworld. Can you find it?
